Extra Credit Assignments

Extra credit may be earned for finding examples relating to game theory in the newspaper, in film, in fiction, in your everyday life, or just about anywhere else.

If an example of game theory comes up, email me a brief description and explanation of how it connects to the course material. Your explanation should demonstrate a clear and thoughtful understanding of the game-theoretic concepts we've covered in class. These should be based on actual examples of game theory that you encounter and not a Google search or ChatGPT request for "game theory examples." Generally, examples earn between two and five points on a quiz, though carefully-analyzed novel examples can earn up to ten points.

Extra credit may be submitted at any time during the semester but is due by the last day of class.
